Bioresin® BW 05
Special resin for protection against standing water microbial contamination in feedwater softening plants. The disinfection effect of Bioresin® BW 05 is based on metallic silver that has been firmly attached to the resin balls during a special procedure. Metallic silver is practically non-water soluble. The smell and taste of the water are not affected.
Performance features:
- Counteracts bacterial re-growth of the resin at low flow rate and at standstill
- Disinfecting effect not affected by backflush and salting throughout filter regeneration, therefore long effectiveness
- Can be retrofitted in already existing systems
- Does not affect the smell and taste of the water
- Expensive measuring system not necessary for disinfecting the filter pulp
- Early regeneration of the softening plant with table salt not required for disinfection, therefore ecologically friendly and profitable
- Maintenance-free
